I am trying to do an ISEE “practice session” with my child.
I’ve downloaded the secure browser. The first time I did this, everything went fine, but taking my own picture.
Now, the second time I am running the test with my child next to me, the program skips the photo taking and ID steps. I am worried that on the test day, my child won’t be able to go provide a photo and ID again.
Any experience or suggestions with this?
(BTW, I tried uninstalling the testing software, but it is not listed anywhere in the “add or remove programs” in Windows 10).
Thanks!
Not exactly sure but is it because that photo ID was supposed to be for your child? I understand that many may not have an ID but maybe something was clicked saying that what you did was actually the child vs the parent and hence why it isn’t asking for your child’s this time. Not to mention, maybe it isn’t letting your child take another practice test because you already took it? Not sure why they would have a practice test for a parent, but maybe you used your child’s practice session and hence why your child can’t sit down and take one?
Thanks for trying to help!
My child did the test today, so I can now answer my own question for the benefit of others:
When the student does the actual test, s/he can retake the personal photo and ID photo (even if this was done during the practice session). In fact, the proctor can remotely reset the flag indicating that the photos were taken to let the student re-take the photos as many times as needed until the proctor is satisfied.
