HELP - Ranking UCSD Colleges!

Hi, I am applying to UCSD to be an international business major and need some help ranking the colleges. I’m not sure if a specific college is good for business majors at all, like it is has more people doing business in it etc or if that even matters. I heard Muir was the most popular, and Warren, ERC, and Revelle don’t seem for me with the fact I’m not doing engineering or going into pre med and don’t want to do the ones with extensive GE reqs.

You can see my list below, I am having trouble distinguishing between Marshall, sixth, seventh, and eighth. Can anyone tell me the differences between those and the type of people in each one?

Rankings in order: Muir, Seventh, Marshall, Sixth, Eighth, ERC, Warren, Revelle

also pros and cons of each?

Things to consider:

General Ed requirements vary depending on what college you are in.

AP credit is applied differently in each college.

Each college has their own living community

ok thank you, also my highschool didn’t offer AP courses so I’ll have no AP credits to transfer

also if anyone can still answer my original question about each one that would be great

Ranking of the colleges is supposed to be done by the student. It would be difficult to rank them unless a person has attended very recently and has classmates in each of the colleges.
The description of each of the colleges is on the website. Colleges

My husband chose Revelle but he did note that the humanities requirements were cumbersome. Fortunately, for him he was extremely strong in both STEM and the humanities.

You have to choose based on your needs. Go visit the school.

I don’t think you’re going to find huge differences in the types of students in each college - everyone ranks them as they’re applying, and accepted students frequently don’t get their first choice, so it is likely pretty much a cross-section of the whole university. Most applicants’ ranking really are much more about the GE requirements, the AP awarded (which I understand doesn’t matter to you), and potentially the location of the college’s housing. Note that 8th college only started in 23-24, so only (relatively few) current students will be able to give you first-hand feedback.
