I am a junior right now and I will take the biology test on Nov 3. Last year I took Advanced Biology and it was easy for me; however, when I did the practice tests on Princeton Review, I only got 510. I heard many people say that Biology test is really easy and nearly 99% got 800. Is it true? Is PR too complicated or it’s my problem? I also practiced on college board and I got most of the questions correct. I will take Molecular Exam. btw, will colleges consider 600~700 as good score for new immigrants?

99% DO NOT get an 800. the average score for biology i believe is in the 600s. PR is probably the most accurate to the actual test, in my opinion. if you’re applying for ivy league colleges, 700+ is considered good, 750+ is great. I dont think being an immigrant will affect how they perceive your score, sorry.

If you’ve truly got a 510 in PR, and it wasn’t because of extenuating circumstances (two pages were ripped out your PR book and you didn’t notice, you tried working through a screamo concert, or you suffered a stroke while reading question 34) then I wouldn’t recommend taking Bio.

Preparation will take you far. Keep working at it.

I spent 2 months on reviewing Bio therefore I don’t really want to give up…well…
