Currently, I’m a second year undergraduate at the University of California-Riverside.
Major: Chemical Engineering
Major GPA: 4.0
Cumulative GPA: 3.897
Applied to: UCSD(accepted), UCSB (rejected), UCD (rejected)
Research Exp: 4 months in Biosensing.

Problem:
My original intention was to transfer out of UCR to UCSD. However, I recently go accepted to the UC-LEADS Program.

[UC LEADS](http://www.ucop.edu/ucleads/)

Benifits: Stipend, Two summer internships(one at UCR, the other at a UC of my choice), paid test preps, and guarateed research throughout the 2 year. In addition, if i do not transfer, my expected debt is around ~6,000 (loans) after 4 years.

The problem is UCSD is a much more prestigous school and I don’t know whether i should accept or decline the acceptance letter.

Advantage: Assuming I DO NOT want to go for a PhD, i see myself getting a job much more easily with a degree from UCSD (correct me if I’m wrong on this) More Competitive.

Disadvantage: Not sure how easy I could get another research position if I transfer (for my resume). Debt: ~30,000 for the last two years of school. Lose my internship offer from UC-LEADS.

Please, any help, suggestion, anything? I have 3 days to decide.
