Help Senior Year Schedule!!

I am planning on applying as a Latin American Studies major to many top colleges such as Bowdoin, I was wondering what adcoms would think if I dropped a science and took two Spanish electives (Hispanic Cinema and Hispanic Literature) instead of just taking a science (advanced biology or a science elective) and one spanish elective. My school does not offer AP courses.

Many of the schools I looked at (LACs of comparable standing) just asked for a year of bio, a year of physics, and a year of chem. If you’ve got those bases covered, then you should be fine, especially if the rest of your academic record is strong. To be sure, you should check the websites of the specific schools you’re interested in.

sounds to me if you’ve got all your basic sciences out of the way you should go for it, especially if they’re related to your future major.
