HELP! Should I send in supplements with my midyear report?

Okay so I am trying to major in film.
I applied to usc, nyu, cornell, stanford.

I had an environmental fashion show at my school a few days ago.
I designed all the clothes and made the pieces with some sewing help.
The pieces came out really nice and I am very pleased with the results.
I did this project because clothes/fashion has always been an interest of mine.
I have a video of it -its not the best quality and its a condensed version so its 2 minutes long.

I know it is a fashion show, but do you think I can send it in with my mid year reports?
do you think it would even help?
I want to show that my creativity isn’t just bounded to film.

Think about your “overall message” that comes through via your essays, recs, transcript, and choice of school/major. If you think the fashion show video fits with that overall picture of you, then send it. If it muddies the profile of who they think you are, don’t send it.

It sounds as if you portray yourself as a film person. That’s quite different from a fashion person. I’m going to guess that the added snapshot that you’re discussing might not be a help, and could also make you seem less committed to the film biz. I don’t think you should send, but what does your gut tell you?
