HELP! Should I submit this change?

I don’t want Penn to think I’m lying.

I volunteered at a summer hospital program for three years, and it’s a really big part of who I am because I want to be in medicine. I used the Penn Specific Online App for ED. However, I ran out of room in activities and there was no Summer Experience section, so I put it in the “Internship/Work Experience” Section.

I wrote it like this:

Pharmacy and Rehabilitation Center
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
06/09/05-08/05/05

Pathology and Surgery Centers
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
06/11/07-08/03/07

Note that’s just two years. There was 2006, when I was captain of the program. I put it under Community Service, under which I put:

11, 12: NHS Treasurer; 10: **VolunTEEN **Captain

Should I email the change to be more specific and make sure that they don’t think I’m lying? Or do you think they’ll understand? (Also, I called and they said I can still make a change)

Wow, this is really complicated. Thanks.

or am i just being paranoid? because i do have ocd.
bumppppp

They most likely will not verify your extracurriculars. They simply don’t have the time to do so. However, if it really bothers them, then they will not hesitate to call your guidance counselor, which is the person they really can call to find out more about you. I would simply tell your counselor about this. If your counselor gets a call about this, then he or she can explain. And, yes, relax. You’re being paranoid. You’ve applied. It’s not in your hands anymore. You did your best. Now, it’s time to move on.

yeah, i’ve come to the realization that it is. thanks for the reassurance lol. :)
