On the Common App, I indicated that I will be taking two subject tests for November (last date for ED) but I found one to be extremely hard so I decided to erase the bubbles. As a result, it’s as if I only took one subject test.

I have already submitted my ED application, so what happens when they see that I did not take one of them, even though I indicated that I would? How do I notify them that I decided not to take it?

I’m sorry to inform you that by erasing all of the bubbles on one test, you are in effect canceling all of your scores (not just the ones that you erased). It is CollegeBoard Policy that if you erase all your answers to one of the subject tests, you are cancelling all subject tests taken on that day.

I actually did the same exact thing back in June. I signed up for Math Level 2 and Chem, but halfway through Chem I wasn’t feeling too confident and ended up erasing the bubbles. I still got my Math score.
