I guess I’ll be deferred or rejected when I applied ED to Brown. Brown seldom takes chinese and it seldom gives financial aid to Chinese.
Yesterday, my school mate told me a rumor that Brown would NOT take Chinese year. I hope it is not true.
I guess maybe defer is not so bad. I’m really crazy about Brown.
Can anyone who ever drop in from defer status tell me what to do can help my brown second evaluation???

<p>the rumor that you heard is absolutely untrue. brown takes several students from china every year, although you are right about the limited financial aid.</p>
<p>keep doing well in school and participating in the activities you enjoy. send brown a letter of continued interest, tell them you definitely plan on matriculating if you are accepted, and make sure you offer some kind of new important information about your candidacy (recent grades, accomplishments, awards, etc.)</p>
<p>thanks for all your ideas. I think brown sometimes draws deferrers, don’t they? My interviewee told me that he was dropped, I hope the same thing happened on me.</p>
