HELP! Transfering plan

I am not sure that it is right place for this discussion, bu anyway
Ok, here is the deal
I must attend to top colleges, but SAT is low, bad ECA so I will not be accepted.
However , I am thinking about applying for middle level colleges by ED program and then do transfer
So, Will the fact that I am accepted by ED program hurt my transfering plan
PLEASE HELP

Why ED? What one university would you apply to ED?

What year are you in right now? How are your grades and SAT scores? What are your financial constraints?

What is an ECA? Is English your native language?

I am an international student with 1290 SAT scores. Currently I am a senior year student. My GPA is 4.9/5. At school, we don’t have too many ECA( extracurricular activities) so , there is only one that I attended.

F.A is vital for me, so there is one college which provides 100% financial aid for all admited students. I am thinking to apply there for ED program to be sure that I will get across the ocean ant then transfer to first choice IVY college

Transferring to an Ivy League university is quite unlikely to succeed. The Ivy League schools accept very few transfer students.

However, if you get into a good university that you can afford, then you may be fine going there and staying there for four years and graduating.

Isn’t it too late to apply ED right now?

I still have time to apply for ED , so the issue I am thinking about
will it be possible to transfer from college where I am accepted by ED 2 program?

Transfering to Ivy is really competitive, but it is only way to study there for me. So will it be possible to transfer from college where I am accepted by ED 2 program?

Yes, you can apply for transfer.

Do you want to be at a “top college” or does your family require that you are at a “top college”?

Do you have to start college next fall, or can you take a gap year to improve your application? Your written English is not at the level expected at the top places. You might be best off spending at least a semester in an intensive English program before you apply.

Are there really schools that have ED deadlines that haven’t passed?

If you do get into an ED school, you will have to stay there for at least a year before transferring and get top grades while there. My understanding is that Ivy league schools take very few transfers and look at high school scores in evaluating them. I have heard that if you can’t get in out of high school, you can’t get in as a transfer unless there are some very unusual circumstances. Making a plan to transfer to an Ivy league school is not realistic.

oh, I can apply- thank your for your respond.
I want to go to top colleges by myself .
I can’t take a gap year, because I will have to go to army. I agree that I need to improve my writing skills.
