HELP! Transferring and Establishing Residency!!?

I’m a Texas resident and have been accepted to both UT and UTD. UTD has offered me a full scholarship. However, I recently found out about the University of Maryland and I would love the opportunity to go there but the application deadline has passed. Should I

  1. apply for the rolling application and hope that I get accepted
  2. apply to a Maryland community college, establish residency for year and then transfer to U of M (I could probably recieve a full scholarship to any community college though finding and paying for housing will be a problem)
  3. go to UTD for a year, then transfer directly from UTD to U of M
Which way will my credits be more easily transfered?? Which will save me the most money? Money is a limiting factor, but I desperately want to get out of Texas. Anyone have a solution??

Looks like 1 and 3 are options. You won’t be able to establish residency in a CC. For the most part you can only do so while you are not in school.
