HELP UC Prompt #2

<p>For my 2nd prompt, an accomplishment i’m writing about is taking AP Biology.
Though I know many students have taken the course, it’s an experience that changed my life because:

  1. first two years of high school consists of regular courses due being intimidated of the classes freshman year; consequently AP Biology was my first AP class junior year.
  2. though I maintained a 4.0 in all my regular courses, I wasn’t entirely satisfied because of the lack of challenge.
  3. it took A LOT of hard work (more elaborated in the essay)
  4. made me go from hating science to loving it, considering biology is my new favorite subject even though the class itself was time-consuming and cumbersome.</p>

<p>Is this too simple of an essay?
To write about an experience about a typical course?
And any suggestions as to what can help make it unique…I was thinking of comparing my struggle to a biology topic.</p>

i thought it had to being something extraordinary.</p>

<p>also for the 1st prompt of the UC app… may I use the story of my grandpa’s cancer or is that too cliche?</p>
