Is the SAT score 1510 out of 1600 or is it out of 2400?

2400 id be so in if it was out of 1600

thats equivalent to a 1000 in the 1600 scale.

The truth is it will be very tough unless you’ve got a special story. Not impossible, but not likely. It all depends on what you bring to the university…talents, course work, experience overcoming adversity and so on.

The “average” kid being admitted for the fall semester has a 1206 on the SAT, plus all the other requirements, at least for the last fall admission cycle. The standards are increasing virtually each cycle.

You might consider trying for a specialized entrance program or trying for summer session. I’d suggest researching the Admissions website and going to personally visit them, if possible.

^^^thank you, i like the honesty. ANybody else want to give me an idea?

Honestly, I would probably say that you won’t get in. Im sure that’s not what you want to hear, but I’m being honest. FSU is rated as “very selective” by most services, contrary to popular belief. My advise would be to contact the admissions office to find out all of the options that are available to you.

go to the JC that is near FSU and then transfer. you can do it after a semester. FSU is not hard to get into if you want to go there, its actually quite easy. transfer from the JC after 1st semester. not hard at all

If you decide to take the community college transfer route keep in mind to take courses and get the necessary GPA that will keep you on track for graduation in the major you will be taking at FSU.

Degree Mapping is FSU’s academic advising and monitoring system that provides students with a recommended eight semester map for each major. The map is a plan for completing the bachelor’s degree in four years for most programs. Students must meet certain minimum requirements each semester known as “milestones”. Milestones may include a minimum GPA and/or completion of specific classes. These milestones are identified on each major map and can be found at http://www.academic-guide.fsu.edu. You can find a complete list of requirements here. Please note, however, that meeting minimum admissions requirements does not guarantee admission.
