<p>The astonishing amount of contradiction in this statement is…wow. I have nothing against UVA but I, much like many people on this site, am so completely alienated by your combination of arrogance and ignorance that it is really hard to view UVA favorably. I say this not to upset you (though I have no doubt you will retort with another classless dig – perhaps UM’s football record) but to inform you that you are quite possibly scaring away more potential applicants than you are attracting. Just looking out for a peer institution. For those interested in the University of Michigan’s standards, perhaps ask the President of the United States.
