<p>i am a prospective UC Davis student. i recently visited and took a tour. On top of one of the buildings (I think it was Hutchinson), I saw a little dome, the kind that house TELESCOPEs! I asked the tour guide about it but she was clueless. i have a friend wiling to take me around, but he doesnt know how to access it. Does any current UCD student/ faculty know how to get to the rooftop?</p>

<p>Email the admissions officer, tell them you’re interested in physics and astronomy, and you’d really like to see their observatory. If that doesn’t work for some reason, look up who teaches astronomy in their course catalog, email that person and tell them you’re a prostud and you’d love to see the observatory if he might be willing to show you around some time.</p>
