I want to major in finance or business administration with a concentration in finance

Also, I have a huge family legacy at Brown, do I have a chance of getting in there?

I’d say you have a shot, though it’s certainly no surefire acceptance into Brown, even with a legacy.

Obvious other elites are Penn, Columbia, Emory, and Georgetown
Safer bets include Boston College, NYU, Syracuse, Babson
Absolute surefire safeties include DePaul, Purdue, Ohio State, Texas-Austin and in your neck of the woods (relatively speaking), Baylor

I don’t think Brown has an undergrad business program as does NYU, BC, etc…

I know but I’ll find something else to major in if I get into brown. How about Carnegie-Mellon?

CMU is very techy. Most of the students are either in computer science, the pure sciences, or the performing arts.

They do have a business college, and if it’s anything like the rest of the school, it must be fantastic.

How about UNC? What are my chances there? THeir admissions are really biased towards North Carolina residents.

How about bentley?

Holy Cross and Babson.

Wake Forest, Emory, Lehigh, Villanova and UMich.
