<p>1) You don’t apply to UChicago as a certain major. They probably (this is just my speculation) don’t take your intended major too seriously. I’ve heard from a few sources that on average college students change their major 2-3 times, though there are outliers. So they shouldn’t make that a huge deal.
2) However, if one of your essays focuses on your interest in science, math, etc, then send September. It shows a higher Science score, reassuring your proficiency in it. As well, your September score shows a lot more moderation. None of them are stellar, but they’re still good on the whole. Your June shows 3 really good scores, with one not so good score.
3) Although I’m not certain, I think the adcomms look more at your composite score and less at your subject scores, so it might not matter which one you send in. Call the admissions office on Monday and ask.
4) Also remember that Chicago’s ACT middle 50% for the class of 2013 is 29-34.</p>
