Help! Which college is better for premed?

I'm so confused and torn. Please give any insight that you may have.

I have been accepted to Loyola University Chicago (Honors), UW-Madison (plan on applying to the Honors program), Marquette University, Southern Methodist University, and UIC (Honors).

I plan on being pre-med and am wondering which of these schools will be the best with regard to their pre-med programs and history of preparing its students for the competitive race to gain admission into medical schools.

Look up the acceptance rate of these schools into med school.

The best pre med school is the school that gives you the best environment to succeed in your major and prerequisite courses. Your undergrad school isn’t considered much when applying to med school.

My advise- pick the cheapest- the one in your ideal location- and a university that gives you a lot of opportunities to volunteer. If there is a hospital or clinic in close proximity, that would be ideal.

UW would be the school with the best reputation

acceptance rates is unfortunately one of the least helpful things to use as there are so many ways to massage the data that one can essentially generate any favorable statistic they want

They’re all fine. they’re all good enough.

How much would each school cost your family? What are they saying about paying for these schools?

I see in another thread that you applied for GMS. Does that mean that you’re low income? If so, then how affordable are these schools? None of these promise to meet need. What aid did you get to each school?

How much were you gapped at each school?
