<p>I am having a very hard time on deciding which school I should attend. I really want to go into a marketing major, but a business administration major is just as good. Do you have any opinions/details on which school I should attend and which major will benefit me the most?</p>

<p>I am waiting on USC (cross my fingers!). I was also accepted into UCI, UCSB, and UCD but none of the majors suit me.</p>
<p>i dont know how majors work in the other schools but i can help if you have babson questions. at babson, you will graduate with a bachelors in business administration, and concentrate in up to two fields (so you would concentrate in marketing and whatever else you find interesting, but your diploma is a bachelors in business administration).</p>
<p>this is because babson’s curriculum includes foundation classes in every aspect of business so you get a well-rounded business education. So just because you know you want marketing doesn’t mean you can get away with not taking anything else. you still have to take accounting, business law, econ, operations, finance, communications, and one entrepreneurship course where you run a business with your classmates. This sounds annoying at first, but it really opens you up to a lot of opportunities. you will get a broad education for two years, and specialize for your last two years if you choose. </p>
<p>i personally went in thinking i would do marketing, and after taking a strategy class i found consulting to be a better fit for me. if babson hadn’t made it a requirement i would have never taken strategy and found my optimal career path.</p>
<p>good luck with the rest of senior year, and keep in mind most people change their area of interest every year! i would make my college decision based on what the school offers, not the major. it doesnt matter as much as it seems :)</p>
<p>That helped me alot. Babson is my number one choice right now, but I am worried about my financial aid.</p>
<p>I sent my FAFSA and CSS on time, but I missed the deadline for the CSS verification. I sent it today but it was due yesterday. What I am worried about is should I confirm with Babson even though I won’t find out about my financial aid until June. If I do confirm, what if they take away my money and I am stuck going to a community college because I am not able to afford Babson’s tuition? I still need to correct my FAFSA since I estimated my 2009 numbers. The uncertainties are making me scared.</p>
<p>They will never take away your money! Call the admissions office and let them know that you turned in your CCS the day after the deadline-- and ask them if they are missing anything else from you. I’m not sure how financial aid works since admissions and financial aid work independently… but call the office!! They will be able to help you much better than I Good luck!</p>
