I got admited by Master of Engineering. One of the prereq is to finish a class of an intermediate level of programming. I took it as pass/fail in my undergraduate University. At first, I worried about using a pass/fail class to fufil a prereq. But the coordinator of the program said they allow pass/fail but request for a grade review from the professor who teaches this class. And a grade of B or better is expected. However, I just saw my grade. It was B-. Though the professor has wrote the grading policy of this class ( It’s a curved class and average is B) and how hard I have tried after I knew a B is expected in the email to cornell, my grade is still a B-. Will the committe revoke my offer because of that?

No they won’t. That would be ridiculous. If you got a D or C- then maybe, but you got a B- which is as close to a B as possible. I doubt they would be such hard asses.

This is for a master’s program, not for UG. If the requirement is a B in a required couse, a B- could disqualify OP. This is similar to Guarantee Transfer students. Cornell has very specific requirements for GTs, if they do not meet the requirements GT could be revoked. OP should contact Cornell to see how strict they are.
