<p>I’m a 12th grade student from India who will be applying to U.S universities for fall 2013. I want to study psychology and journalism. My SAT scores are 1420 with verbal 520, math 420 and writing 480. I know its pretty low but I cannot take it again. My grades in high school are erratic. And all my extracurricular activities are from 5th to 7th grade. I am stressed out if I would get accepted into any university at all! I actually want to get into Iowa State University but also want other options. I am confused. Can anybody tell me a few universities that would accept me? Can anybody at least tell me if any damn university in the U.S would accept me?</p>
<p>What are your grades? You can definitely get in some universities if you are willing to pay full tuition. </p>
<p>Try the CSUs, ASU, SUNY, and other large state schools. ASU will almost certainly accept you.</p>
<p>Will you be applying for financial aid? If you are a full pay international, even with your relatively low grades and scores there are many good private schools that would be interested in you. If you need aid, the admissions pool will be highly competitive for you because you will be considered compared to other international aid applicants.</p>
