Email, email, email! You need to reach out to as many coaches as possible, preferably not through a recruiting site like NCSA. Use your own email address. If you haven’t already, create a 1 page resume with your academic and athletic information to send. You should also be sending 2-3 minute highlight reels. You need to cast a very wide net. It is very late to be finding a spot. You have to be very proactive with the process. They aren’t just going to come find you, especially at the juco level.

Definitely stop using NCSA. Many coaches block emails coming from NCSA.

I agree with the above…it’s late but start emailing more coaches. Have a subject line that grabs the coach’s attention: example 2025 6’2” guard, all conference, vertical/bench/whatever you want to highlight, gpa, test score. Use your strongest stats.

Attach a a two minute max highlight reel with your best highlights first. Most coaches won’t watch close to the entire thing. If you already have a twitter account, pin the highlight reel at the top of your account/feed. I wouldn’t spend any time filling out recruiting questionnaires unless a coach specifically asks you to do that.

During the upcoming visit listen to the coach. Hear what he is saying. Have questions ready, for example how do you see me fitting into the offensive/defensive game plan? (You should be ready to talk about the skills you would bring to the team.) Also ask things like what supports are in place to help players with the transition to college? Academic supports? Ask what this timeline is for a decision. Etc.

Good luck.
