I wasn’t sure what to write about in the main essay that will be sent to all the schools I am applying for, including Stanford, but I knew that it has to be unique and stand out from the 30,000 other essays they have to read. I ended up writing kind of a twist on Dr. Seuss’s ‘the places you’ll go’, focussing on a trip that I took that helped me realize my academic interests. I was hoping that it would kind of convey that I am creative and unique, but I’m worried that it might be a bit of a long shot. Is there anyone who would be willing to read my essay if I sent it to them?
I’m also happy to help with others who want their essays read.
