<p>(A) is incorrect, for the author is not telling a story.
(B) is incorrect, for the author is not citing any objective evidence; he is giving his own opinion.
(E) is irrelevant.</p>
<p>(C) is correct because the author is clearly expressing his distaste for miniseries. He likens miniseries to absurd situations such as “beach reading without the beach” and “airport reading with the airport” that can be thought of as humorous.</p>
