Help with GRE scores

I was accepted to a graduate school guarantee program for nursing, and it said that you needed to get 1000 or better on the GRE to stay in the program.
How hard is it to get a 1000 on the GRE? Are most people able to get this score without sweating too much about it? Also what are the low, average, and good ranges for the GRE scores?
Thank you in advance!

Well if you are good at standardized test, then no. I would recommed taking a prep course though Kaplan or Princeton Review. Buy a book and practice. Remember, the test just changed in August 2011, and the new version is still new. I suggest going to Barnes & Nobel, and looking through some books. Definately buy the Barron’s and Kaplan GRE books, and study about 3-4 hours a day, everyday.

A 1000 GRE should be very attainable.

In the old GRE, Q800s were rather common and Q700 was considered a bad score. That means all you’d need would be a V200 or V300. I think the scoring scale starts at V200 and, even though the verbal section is tough, it isn’t that tough.

You probably won’t need to study for the GRE to attain 1000. The bar was a very low one.

Thank you for your help! :)
