Help with Major/Career?

Just wondering if anyone had some feedback/advice for me…
I am currently a Junior, looking into colleges and majors and such. I have an interest in history and politics, but wouldn’t want to focus entirely on the social sciences in college, since I also enjoy mathematics and biological sciences. However, I know that eventually I would have to declare a major, and was searching for a way to combine my interests. The career of Actuary seems like it would include both statistics/social sciences, as does various other finance-based government jobs. Does anyone know if double-majoring in finance/mathematics and political sciences is prominent? Is this a wise choice, and, if so, which schools would best accomodate this intention? (I’m looking in Mid-Atlantic/New England area…)
