I’ll be wearing a long strapless gown with. Statement rhinestone necklace,
I’ll be wearing my wedding ring and diamond on one hand. The other a cocktail ring I have. I will feel weird without a bracelet. what kind of bracelet? A large one might be too much bling. Would a thin rhinestone one work? Or something else?
Maybe skip the cocktail ring and a bigger bracelet on that arm but not too blingy? Need some girlfriend help here.
Be careful to see if the bracelet MAY snag the garment, whatever you choose. My D was dismayed to realize that her lovely dress acquired a few snags from a bracelet ( tho fortunately I repaired). Sorry, I’m a minimalist and rarely wear a statement necklace AND bracelet.
Maybe no bracelet. Are you going to have up-do hair? Then gorgeous earrings that match the necklace.
If you want the bracelet, gold or silver simple wide bracelet that fits your wrist. I think loose bracelets that move around too much will be too busy with the bling rings.
Yes…I will have an up-do or half updo with earrings. I’ll make sure it’s not too much up there with the necklace. The dress has bling on the waist and back. This dress could snag easily…great point. I’ll also be carrying a wristlet that has some bling. I’ll forego the bracelets and wear my cocktail ring! Thanks all.
Was it Coco Chanel who said - look in the mirror and the first piece of jewelry you notice, take off? I think statement necklace and wedding ring are fine - no bracelet. Have fun!
Thanks. I just read something. It said to choose one of the three. Necklace and earrings. Necklace and Bracelet. Earrings and Bracelet. But not all 3 at once. I don’t typically follow that rule, but with this necklace and dress I will.
