The CC community has been great and It’s so good to go through this overwhelming process with others.

Since George Washington University is test optional, you might be a good match

Would that be state or national? If that happened in HS I would keep it. BTW, if you get into SMU it will be because of your record, not because your dad knows the admissions officer. What can your family afford for college?

@nasa2014 I know I visited it this summer and really liked it. Should I add or delete anything?

@“Erin’s Dad” No it was state as I said ‘state champion’ and yes it did happen in 9th grade but then I left tennis when I moved here so I don’t want colleges to think that I just left it, I just got involved with more activities. My family can afford a good 60,000+. I am pretty sure I’ll get into SMU because of previous connections, my cousin had gotten into SMU because of my dad and so will I but it’s not my first choice so even if I don’t, it won’t bother me.

I’m afraid that your top schools are too much of a reach for your test scores and GPA. And you don’t mention any SAT subject tests - the top schools usually require two.

try northwestern for environmental law! my dad went there and he’s an environmental lawyer for my home state so clearly it worked out

^ That’s interesting but Law School is post graduate in the US. The OP would need to get his undergrad first.

OP, I think you have a good chance at all your mid-tier colleges, particularly as a full pay student.

@archaelogygirl I’ll def check their website thank you (:

@“Erin’s Dad” Thank you! do you think I should add or remove colleges?
