I’m a junior at a high school where colleges usually accept scores lower than the national average, so while my scores may look a little low, they are in my range. I have a
3.4 (should get it up to like a 3.43-3.44 by the end of this year) unweighted GPA
1850 on my first SAT (will take it again, was kind of sick and scored about 2000 on my practice tests)
3 APs by end of senior year: Economics (Micro/Macro), Physics 1, Government
I started a club at my school, am in a club that requires 10 hours of community service a year, go to elderly homes with my dog every other Sunday for an hour to make them happy, and placed third in a regional science fair. I live in CT and want to stay in driving distance and want to major in business. My list right now is:
UMD
Lehigh
Bentley
Northeastern
Gettysburg
Franklin and Marshall
American
UConn
Union
University of Delaware
I will need financial aid, but my situation makes it such that the cost of smaller private schools is much lower than that of large public schools, so that’s why Penn Sate isn’t on the list.
