HELP with my senior schedule plzzz

<p>i basically think that everything old is cool. like latin. so that’s why i think ap art history would be cool/fit my interest (possible archaeology major which ap art history very much relates too) and the class isn’t sposed to be that hard but i hear the teacher is boring as hell. and i hear ap art history doesn’t look so good bc it’s not a core subject but i dunno if that’s true (that it’d look not so good i mean). and i really wanna have an impressive schedule…</p>

<p>here’s my schedule:

  1. AP Latin lit
  2. AP Spanish lit
  3. World Lit (theres no ap english at my school)
  4. Calculus
  5. Freedom - Honors (i REALLY wanna take this class b/c of the teacher and it’s about the type of stuff i’m in to as well (hippieish stuff))
  6. AP Euro (i’m really close to this teacher. + it’s a good AP and my prospective majors are mostly history oriented)
  7. AP art history
  8. Introduction to Scientific Research (easy and kinda related to archaeology)
    BUT theres only eight class periods and a free period would be extremely helpful/basically gurantee i’ll do better in the rest of my classes.</p>

<p>so basically my question is, what do you think i should give up (if any) for a free? if i don’t do research, theres no science and i dont wanna give up an AP and i have to do calc and eng and my languages and euro and freedom i dunno so basically it’s all a jumble. HELP PLZ?! suggestions? thoughts? answers?</p>

<p>i had to deal with a similar situation. get rid of spanish. it’s what i did. it’s such an easy language that you’ll probobly remember it for a while and you obviously dont need the language credit. anddd if you do well enough on the latin AP then you wont need to take a language in college</p>

<p>i think your schedule is absolutely fine.</p>

<p>it shows a geared interest in a certain direction.</p>

<p>just don’t slack in science, do well in the science class.
and if you’ve taken only weak sciences prior to this, you might want to bump up your science class to a harder one, if you’re applying in the IVY league range.</p>

<p>This isn’t related, but Wes has sick archeology classes. I was setting up my schedule for next semester (I’m transfering there) and I am going to probably take Paleoanthropology, one of the anthropology/archeology classes. It looks like it would be amazing.</p>
