Okay, so the big rectangle is formed of 6 identical squares. 10 of the sides of these squares form the perimeter of the big rectangle. Since the perimeter of the big rectangle is 30, we can divide it by 10, to find the length of each of the sides. The length is 3. Now, to find the perimeter of one of the small sqaures, we have to multiply the length of its sides by the number of sides there is. So, 3 times 4. The answer is 12.

thank you :)

small advice: don’t rely upon the Questions of the Day…they’re a lot easier and doing practice exams r SO MUCH helpful! (I was subscribed to QofD for more than a year)

^ Thanks for chiming in. And yeah, I plan on doing practice tests too, of course, but I figure the QOFTA can’t hurt!

What does QOFTA stand for? Question OF The A…?

actually…it CAN! (in my opinion! may be different for u…but doing this QofD actually hurted!)

The only way it can hurt is by instilling false confidence in students. But, that’s only if they’re the only thing you use for studying. Otherwise, they help you gain a sense of familiarity with the types of questions, and you learn how to tackle the questions so as to find the right answers.

714nD1 - that was a typo; I meant question of the day

^-- Oh, ok!

@rockermcr: I second. You can use those questions for warming up before test day or familiarizing with easy-medium types.
