Hey you guys, I graduated this year and unfortunately I’m not attending school for Fall Semester, I plan on applying to either GA Southern, Valdosta State, or Savannah State for Spring 2012. I’ve been prepping since July and I wanted to know what are some good study skills to get ready for the test? Since this being my 1st time taking the SAT, I’m a little worried but I’m hoping for the best. So can you guys please help me out

Here some quick stats on scores i would like to receive.

Critical Reading: 430 or higher
Math: 400 or higher

Also, I would like to know what books would you request me obtain as well.

Thanks.

try taking diagnostic test first and see what you can get. I’m guessing 400 should be no problem at all. You can get the collegeboard-based Blue Book and just read through it.

Yea. What the person above me said. You will probably be in that score range when you take your diagnostic test; most people are smarter than they think they are.

Good luck :)

1st advice: Aim high to achieve high scores.
2nd advice: Until you gain enough self confidence, keep practising, reading and studying.

Wish you the best of luck… :):):)

alright Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate it.
