Hi, I’m a high school senior right now. I already have a list of colleges that I’m applying to — IIT, UIUC, Purdue, WPI, and some others — but I’m wondering if you have any other suggestions. I have a 1480/1600 SAT (710E, 770M), but only a 3.5 gpa. My gpa is low for two reasons. First, I went untreated for ADD until 11th grade. I got a 3.85 gpa last year because it was the first year that I was properly treated. Also, I founded a medical software company in my sophomore year that takes up a lot of time. The software is really complex and it won an entrepreneurship competition at an Ivy League business school. I think I have a pretty good essay, and I am doing really well in the most challenging classes I could take this year, but I didn’t take Honors classes until this year because I wasn’t doing well in regular classes before.
I know it’s kind of late to be asking, but I’d still appreciate any advice.
