<p>I have not spent much time in this forum since my sons are all set in school, but I have a nephew that just went through the BS application process. My sister told me about this forum since she found it very helpful. </p>
<p>My sons found some great vocabulary books through the SAT Preparation forum called Direct Hits (you can check the threads on the SAT/ACT Forum) that really helped them on the PSAT and SAT. The books say they are for the SAT, but my nephew found them very helpful for the SSAT and loved the format (like my sons did). When he got to Deerfield he discovered that one of the English teachers is using them in his classes.</p>
