I have a vague idea of what I want to write about so just wondering if I can get some feedback (too weird/out there?) and advice on how to link it all together. The gist of the idea is that the main thing that drew me to Carleton was their yellow bike system (where they take old bikes, paint them yellow, give them names, and leave them around campus for anyone to use. you bike somewhere, drop the bike off, and then someone else uses it, the cycle continues). I thought it really set them apart from other colleges. Soo I want to talk about my horrible luck with bikes in the past (within the past two years I have broken a grand total of 5 bikes) and somehow tie this in with their bike system. The problem is how…should I give up or does anyone have any advice??

That sounds really interesting. Just be sure not to concentrate on the bike system for the entire answer (though I don’t know if that was your intended idea). I’m not quite sure how you’d be able to adequately answer the question (only 300 characters!) by only talking about bikes. There’s so little space, it’s frustrating!
