What colleges should I look at with a 3.6 GPA UW at a competitive school and a 2250 SAT?

I’m taking the SAT again this June.

You need to give a lot more information. Intended major, extent that money is an issue, desired location, desired campus size, desired school type.

Biochem,bio
Money= not an issue
US, anywhere
Private.
Oh yea, Preferred to be in top 50 according to USNWR.

Urban, suburban, rural matter? Big, medium, or small size matter? Any preferred religious affiliation?

Doesn’t matter X2, and no.

Try USC (private, nonreligious, good biochem, high rank). 3.6 might be a bit of a stretch, but a 2250 will help.

Again, though, that’s just a loose starting point.

I really like WUSTL, any say as to whether my EC’s are going to help my gpa? Like I said, it’s a very competitive school.

Well, GPA is usually put into the context of rank, so what’s that like?

I don’t know what your activities are, but if they’re very good, that will help.

My school doesn’t rank, but I am on the crust of top ten %.

I am a Muslim, so my activities include preaching, holding interfaith debates, and fundraising for my local mosque. Other than that, I am a science guy, I made it into USABO semis, and I am a Siemens semifinalist for 2010. I do research at a local biotech company, i’ll probably get a letter from the CEO. I am applying ED, and making a visit soon. I like my religious EC’s because they show Im actually doing it for the sake of god, not college admissions.

That sounds good. I think you’ll have a good shot at WUSTL.
