Help

My 21 years old daughter “graduated” last December from a college in the east cost and moved to the west cost. We found out that she failed one class. We told her to take care of it for several month and nothing happened.

She was a good student in high school but when she went to college she became very extrem. vagan, foster more than 50 dogs and cats in a year even though now she doesn’t do it any more. She has tattoes over her legs and upper arms. My husband think she may have some personality disorder like naisissim.

Your daughter is an adult. Has she asked for your help? Is she a danger to herself or others? If not, I don’t think there is much you can do. Hopefully she will get a job and be a responsible person, with or without the personality disorders.

You might want to offer the suggestion that sometimes Us have limits on how long credits toward a degree are valid so that the person as to complete ALL coursework toward the degree by a specified period of time (often a set # of years), or the courses become invalid. That happened to a neighbor–she went to college for a while & then dropped out to marry her HS sweetheart. She let her credits expire & never got her degree.
