Hi guys, I was caught “cheating” during my freshmen year. One time in this class, we had to do this writing assignment. Because I thought my writing wasn’t good enough, I had a friend who only helped me to edit a few words. However, my English teacher found out and reported me to the Vice Principal. I had to go to detention and a letter was sent to my parent. (I am not blaming my English teacher or anything) From this action, I learned that someone can help you to edit if the person don’t type/write it for you. Our school’s policy is that the first time you are caught cheating, you have to go to detention. The second time you are caught, it not only goes on to your permanent school record, but you are also suspended. The third time you are caught, you are automatically expelled. I am very scared because I really want to get into my dream college and I really hope this won’t affect me applying to colleges… I hope there is someone who can help me to prevent doing stuff (cheating) like this ever again…
