Help

Hi, my name is Dan. I still need help. Members of this site have suggested UIUC. They also suggested Chicago or Northwestern as a reach. What about IIT, Bradley, or Knox?

A.C.T. Score

30 – Math
27 – English
29 – Reading
24 – Science

28 – Composite (This was my first try. I only did about two weeks study. I’m going to retake.)

I most likely got a 3 or above on my A.P U.S. History Test

GPA 3.52 (Freshman year 2.9 Sophomore year 3.8 Junior year 3.9)

Class Rank 13/62

I’m just an above average student looking for a solid college to study Computer Science or Business.

I would like to go to college in Illinois.

I have a job and have participated in many school activities and sports.

I was hoping someone with more knowledge would answer you but I will try… Knox is a small (1400) school. You will have small classes and will be able to get help if needed. Knox has a relationship with the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business that you may want to check into- if you think that graduate school might be possible. Bradley is very popular with the kids in our town. Small school (but bigger than Knox) with a good reputation. Another school that you may look at is Northern (NIU). Northern is getting a good reputation for business and if you are in state, it certainly is cheaper. You should get a road trip and go see some of these schools. Bradley and Knox are only 40 minutes apart. (Landmark Inn has great food in Galesburg). I know nothing about IIT so I’m not going to even try and help you there. I am guessing you live in Illinois, so talk, talk, talk to people and go out and look at places. Think of the road trip as an investment. Let us know what happens.
