Learn important supreme court cases (gibbons v. Ogden, Roe v. Wade, Dred Scott, mccoulach v. maryland,). Memorize amendments 12-21. Learn the names of authors and the books they wrote during each period. Learn how the US acquired each of it’s territories (when, how…) If you’ve gotten a question wrong because you didn’t know anything about the other choices (even the wrong answer choices) go back and learn about them.

what about the questions that have you identify people with quotes how do i study for those?

Know what theories they espoused. For example, if they give a quote like so: “Andrew Jackson is a ■■■■■■■ and everything he does is…” you could probably guess Daniel Webster as the author.

haha. What about the actual quotes?

Find the Sparknotes U.S. History book of 5 practice tests (at Barnes and Noble) and do them all.

I already got the REA do i really nd to go buy another book?

I found that even some practice questions in REA arent covered by its summaries.
