<p>ok guys so I’m taking an intro christianity philosophy class and my final is in two days, I’ll have to study my ass off and not even sure if I’ll get above a D or if i can pull a C. I was going to drop it when I had the chance but figured i would try and ride it out.It really has been so hard though and professor is no help at all.now i wish i would’ve dropped it.anyways I’m thinking what if I just take and F and retake a philosophy class but my question is if i retake will it have to be the same class or will any philosophy class count and how bad will and F look on my transcript? I already have an F in a class from when i was a slacker,and planning on retaking that too so what should i do?</p>
<p>you have to retake the same class. Grade trends are important, so if this F is an outlier it won’t harm you. Retake the classes, get good grades, and your GPA won’t be affected. The Fs will still be on your transcript, but if they’re followed by semesters of As then you should be fine.</p>
<p>My counselor told me recently that some students actually PURPOSEFULLY get a D or an F when they could have gotten a C so they could retake the class to get an A or a B, for their GPA’s sake. Seriously.</p>
