<p>I’m currently a high school senior and I’m attending SUNY Oswego next fall. I’m very happy with my choice, but now it comes the issue of picking a dorm. Oswego is known for it’s First Year Program and in order to stay in it, you have to do 10 community service hours a semester, attend programs, etc. It’s all freshman in this one dorm but apparently it’s just considered 13th grade and it’s really isolated from west campus, where all the partying happens.</p>
<p>I think it’s a great idea for me to pick it, but I’m not sure if I’m really closing myself off from the true college experience. Has anyone done a program like this before?</p>
