Help!!

Hey guys, I had a couple of questions regarding the sophomore transfer requirements to the UC system, NYU, and any other university that will accept me as a sophomore.

I’m a senior in high school who, unfortunately, completely missed the deadlines to apply to universities that I now regret not applying to. I am aware that transferring into the UC system as a sophomore is EXTREMELY competitive and that my chances of being admitted are a lot better if I apply as a junior. I feel that my credentials are high enough, i just missed the deadline for applying (laziness and senioritis got the best of me)

My credentials are as follows:

Class Rank: 9/612
GPA: 3.8/4.0
SAT Score: 2000+

Long story short, since i feel that I have a good chance of being admitted to the university in Los Angeles, what are some general requirements that UCLA looks for from a transfer student? What about NYU? I will be attending the University of Texas at Austin in the fall, but I just wanna apply to other places for my sophomore year to see where I potentially get in.

I know that my high school transcript will be required, but what about standardized test scores (SAT, SAT IIs, ACT)? are they required for admission as well? I know that NYU only requires a high school transcript and a transcript from your freshman year university, but as for UCLA, i have no clue as to what they require for admission

I’m from Texas and I simply want to know what are the requirements for sophomore transfer to the UC system, NYU, or any other college that accepts sophomore transfers (even if the likelihood of my admission is very low)

Instead of gathering gossip from the internet, try emailing the admissions offices at the schools that interest you and specifically ask 1) how many students apply as transfers in recent years? and 2) how many did you accept in Fall 2008 and Fall 2009 and 3) what specifics is XYZ college looking for in a transfer student?

You can go to the website of each school and it will tell you, specifically which tests are required. (DUH. Sorry, dude, but what if some poster had a mean streak and told you nothing was required? Would you believe them over the UCLA offical website???).

I think you are not over your laziness just yet. You want to post in one place and have all the answers fall into your lap. Wow, let us know how that works out for you.
