4 AP Courses: (AP US History, AP Language, AP Environmental Sci, and AP Psychology)

Two Honor Courses (the rest core) plus 3 years of foreign language

GPA : 4.1

20 plus hours of community service (a few clubs for one year)

Sat: 1400

Is this enough for GSU (Georgia State University)?

This is the University of Georgia forum. You have the wrong forum. And if you have a 1400 between math and verbal. I recommend Georgia Tech, Emory, and maybe UGA, and some top 20 schools in the Nation.

Agreed. You have a 4.1 and if you have a 1400 between math and verbal, you’re golden for UGA and some other really good schools. Not that GSU is a bad school. Just that you can shoot for something bigger.

It depends on how you are calculating the 4.1. It is obvious that you are using some sort of weight (Otherwise, you would have a 4.0 at best). Take all couses that are not Math, English, Science, Foreign Language, and Social Studies out of the equation, then calculate your grade point. I can tell you that someone with a 1470 and 3.7 (calculated using this method) was waitlisted at Tech.
