<p>Can someone please tell me if these 3 APs(AP gov, AP stat,AP comp sci)are good enough junior year for HYPS? What I’m concerned about is the lack of core academic APs I’m taking (ex AP US AP chem etc.), because all the APs I’m taking this year are all electives. My school requires students to take a qualifier to take APs and I unfortunately did not qualify for the other APs I wanted to take. If this courseload is a problem, can I make up for it through a more rigorous curriculum senior year and with good grades ?</p>

<p>I don’t see anything wrong with that. It’s only a problem if the other top-ranked kids in your school are taking more AP’s or advanced classes than you are.</p>
