<p>Hey Guys,
Im a junior from long island and have good academics like the rest of CC.
So of course im trying to find ways to distinguish myself.
So i tried out for All State Jazz for Alto Sax and recieved a score of 96 out of 100.
Now that may sound great and it is, however they only take 2 altos from all of New York so I most likely will not make the band.
HOwever, could i still put this 96 on my resume and maybe contact the music departments of the colleges i wish to apply to? ( Brown, Columbia, BU)</p>

My US teacher nominated me for this thing that came in the mail recently, The Junior Forum for National Dimplomacy, Defense and Security?
Now at first I thought this was another one of those rip off camps that are pointless, however I kept reading and it said it onloy sends 350 kids from the whole country so Im beginning to think this could help me with the college admissions process.</p>
<p>Any feedback on the Saxophone and or Camp would be greatly appreciated guys
