I don’t attend SBU, but here’s a site with professor reviews.

[Thomas Hemmick - Stony Brook University (SUNY) - RateMyProfessors.com](Thomas Hemmick at Stony Brook University (SUNY) | Rate My Professors)

I had Hemmick for 121 and 123. He was awesome!!! He gave these huge review sessions before midterms and finals (2 days, 8hrs each day for each exam),which consisted of going over the whole practice exam. The exams themselves were pretty easy so long as you review the homework problems and practice exam. Each midterm consisted of 5 multipart problems (4questions from the practice exam and 1 from the homework problems) and the final was twice as long. Overall he was a great professor. He really cares about the students and makes lecture very interesting. He is one of the nicest people at stony brook :)

What’s the best way to prepare for his exams aside from his review sessions? Does he go over every possible thing that can be on your exam? Aside from the hw problems and in-class problems, what else did you use to prepare?
