Hemphelia and sports

So i am a hemopheliac (blood disorder with clotting) and as a result i have not played any sports in high school. Is there any possible way to let colleges know about this? I don’t want my resume taking a dive because of a health disorder.

You don’t have to list sports as an activity on a college app. If you have other ECs, don’t worry about it.

I agree with skp. Most colleges don’t factor ECs into admission. The ones that do – places like HPYS that have such an overabundance of high stat applicants that the colleges can afford to pick and choose to create a well rounded student body – look for applicants who seem most able to contribute to a campus with a wide variety of student-run activities. Consequently, the colleges don’t care whether you’ve been involved in sports. They just want to find students who have been involved in some activities at a deep enough level that it could be expected that the applicants will contribute to student life at the college.
