Here's a random thought

Is it better for society to be uniform or “normal”?

An analogy, company A, B, and C all have 10000 employees each. In A there are 1 genius and 1 ■■■■■■. In B there are 10 geniuses and 10 ■■■■■■■. In C there are 100 geniuses and 100 ■■■■■■■. Assuming an average IQ of 100 each, genius of 150, and ■■■■■■ of 50, all three populations would be “equal” in theory.

But which one would be the most successful in life? Which one would contribute most to society? With which one would the human race move forward at a faster pace?

I think this situation can be applied to quite a few of today’s social issues. Some, if compared to this analogy, can be accused with being radical and “racist” or “sexist” (think how some explain innate differences between men and women in math and the sciences).

There really are no “innate” differences between men and women in math and science. In western societies, the differences have all been culturally driven. From what I understand, in China and other asian countries, no such assumptions exist about innate cognitive disparities between the sexes. Asian women studying in the U.S. often show astounding math and science acumen, on par with, and often above that of many their american males peers. The vast majority of behavior, demonstrated ability, values, beliefs, etc. are culturally dictated.

I still don’t understand your question, though. “Uniform or normal”? Can you backtrack and explain what brought this question to mind? What is the point you’re trying to make?
