I love the way University of Tulsa is looking. If you know about it, that’s a school I’m looking for! Does anyone know any schools that are similar? I wish it would get more recognition. Its cheap and truly awesome from what I’ve read.

If I hadn’t looked into Tulsa, I’d say I’m looking for:
a school with biochemistry major
internships and jobs
in a good city
student happiness is very important to me. I care about things like dorms, fitness, food, etc. all on a beautiful campus
sports is a must. I’ve already ruled out U of Chicago
good research facilities
selective but not ’ OMG IVY!!'

The only Ivy League I’ve been considering is Emory, but not even Emory is matching up to TU from what I’ve read.

JHU…strong biochemistry program, good city (I’m biased cause I like Baltimore), Homewood campus is great, seems like there’s lots of sports, one of the strongest research institutions (especially biomedical) in the US…not Ivy, but close.

Although you are out of state, if your statistics are good enough, you may look into UCSD or UC Los Angeles. Of course, it’ll cost an arm and a leg, but it has everything you need. (Go Bruins!)
